MISE Consult Privacy Notice

Effective date: September 9, 2026.

MISE Praxis LLC operates MISE Consult, a portal for contracted customers to review their consulting engagements and, when enabled for their account, view invoices and open QuickBooks payment pages. This notice covers the portal. It does not replace the privacy notices of Intuit, Clerk or other services you use directly.

Information we handle

We handle account identifiers and contact details, your organization and authorized customer assignments, engagement status, milestones, published updates and deliverable links. Staff may maintain internal engagement notes that are not visible to customers. We also process technical information such as IP addresses, authentication events and access logs to operate and protect the service.

When MISE's authorized QuickBooks administrator enables the connection, the portal retrieves invoice information from the connected MISE QuickBooks company. This can include invoice numbers, dates, amounts, balances, currency, customer identifiers and invoice-specific viewing or payment links. Each customer's access is limited by their portal permissions and customer assignment.

Payment details are entered on Intuit-hosted pages. The MISE Consult payment-link flow does not collect card numbers or bank credentials in the portal. Intuit handles payment processing under its own terms and privacy notice.

How we use information

We use information to authenticate users, provide engagement and billing access, manage our customer relationship, respond to support requests, investigate security issues and meet applicable contractual and legal obligations. We do not sell portal personal information or use customer accounting data for targeted advertising or to train general-purpose AI models.

Service providers and disclosures

We use Render for application and database hosting, Clerk for authentication and related login messages, and Intuit QuickBooks Online for accounting and hosted invoice payments. These providers process information as needed to deliver their services. The portal application and database are hosted in Render's US region; providers may process information in other locations under their own arrangements. We do not promise that all processing occurs only in the United States.

We may disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and security, or as permitted by the customer agreement. Access within MISE is limited to authorized people who need it for their work.

Retention, access and choices

We retain information for the purposes described above and applicable contractual, accounting, legal and security requirements. Closing portal access does not automatically erase invoices or records that must be retained in QuickBooks or other business systems. Backup copies may remain until the applicable backup retention period ends.

Contact admin@misepraxis.com to request account assistance, correction, access or deletion of personal information. We may verify your identity and authority before acting. Requests are handled subject to applicable law and legitimate retention requirements. The authorized QuickBooks administrator can revoke the app connection through QuickBooks. Revocation stops future authorized access; it does not itself delete existing business records.

The portal uses authentication and session technologies necessary for sign-in and security. It is intended for authorized business users, not children. We will post material updates to this notice with a revised effective date.
